Black to the Future

Black to the Future empowers Black communities to educate and challenge elected officials, policy-makers, and legislators to take positions that are beneficial to our communities.

Black to the Future will use the information gathered through the Black Census Project to work with Black people and Black communities to craft our own smart, visionary, and alternative policies, a legislative agenda, and plans for implementation around the issues important to us and our communities.

Together, we will work with one another to transform our vision into policy, and to get those policies passed at the local, state, and national levels.

This is what “power to the people” can look like.
